About Sharese
Hailing from Long Beach, Mississippi, Sharese is carving out a distinct lane in country music with her emotionally direct, no-filter approach to songwriting. Blending alternative country and Americana with a deeply personal lyrical lens, her music explores heartbreak, resilience, and the quiet complexities of everyday life.
A self-taught guitarist who grew up studying music through choir and immersing herself in a wide range of influences, Sharese’s path to artistry wasn’t traditional. It was a moment of unexpected clarity - playing guitar at home after becoming a mother - that led her to pursue music professionally, launching her performance career in Key West and steadily building a loyal following.
Her writing style is instinctive and immediate, often completing songs in a single sitting, guided by emotion rather than structure. That spontaneity, paired with her ability to translate real-life experiences into melody, has become a defining characteristic of her sound.
Her forthcoming debut EP, set for release later this year, marks a pivotal introduction. Produced by Marshall Altman and containing a songwriting collaboration with Dylan Altman and Brice Long, the project showcases both her raw storytelling and her evolving craft. Standout track “Crooked Letter” is an anthemic homage to Mississippi, capturing a deeply personal sense of nostalgia, belonging, and place.
A recipient of Rising Star 2025 and Vocalist of the Year 2026 at the Key West Music Awards, Sharese has also delivered standout performances ranging from national anthem appearances to festival stages alongside established songwriters.
At the core of her artistry is a simple intention: to make people feel something—whether that’s healing through heartbreak or finding connection in shared experience. With a growing catalog and a commitment to constant creative evolution, Sharese represents a compelling new voice in modern country music.
